Hello! My name is Andy and I am a people person. Throughout my career I have worked with and served people and I love it. I particularly love listening to people’s stories and celebrating their lives or life events.
I have great experience in working alongside people in a variety of situations. A 20 year career in the Police (7 years as an old fashioned Village Bobby) helped with this coupled with 23 as a parish priest. For 22 of those years I have been a Workplace Chaplain offering independent support and a confidential listening ear to all who needed it (all meaning everyone not just those of a particular religion or world view), meeting people where they are in daily life. I have also worked as a retail assistant, a funeral arranger and an activities organiser in residential care homes.
All of this has led me to realise how individual each person is whatever they believe, however they live their lives and view their sexuality. I believe in equality meaning, everyone has a right to be treated fairly and with care. My motto is that everyone is valuable therefore all deserve the same opportunity.
Life is very complex and very individual. It would be my privilege join you at important times as someone who is non-judgemental, open minded and without pre-conceived ideas. I will conduct your ceremony according to your wishes and we will work together in achieving whatever you want.
